I made this cosplay of a female (Queen) Varian Wrynn in the year 2016. I took inspiration and the design from the Alliance king, Varian Wrynn, from World of Warcraft's Legion expansion cinematic and handcrafted this cosplay over the course of roughly 8 months. I absolutely LOVE the Alliance and my Alliance kings, so I poured my heart, soul, time and money into making this costume come to life! At it’s completion in November 2016, I was honoured to receive second place in the BlizzCon cosplay contest.

The armour is made from Worbla thermoplastic and EVA/craft foam, free molded to my body shape, and detailed with my Worbla scraps. The undercoat was sewn and trimmed with a heavy fabric to compliment the bulk of my armour and the cape is a hefty wool fabric that was both sewn and handsewn. The sword, Shalamayne, is pink foam board, carved into the sword shape and covered in Worbla.
