Mercy was the very first character I played in Overwatch back when I tried the demo at BlizzCon in 2014. Her aesthetic is my favourite of all the Overwatch heroes, and I just thought she was the cutest! Her wings and headdress in her legendary Valkyrie skin caught my attention and after making the headdress during a ‘small’ summer project for fun, I decided to just make the rest of the damn cosplay, lol

The armour, staff and swords are handcrafted from Worbla thermoplastic and EVA foam. The clothing was all homemade and I wired a motor and LED circuit in the staff to make the top spin both ways and light up yellow and blue in an indicator on the body of the staff just the way it does in game. The wings are made from pink insulation foam board, knife carved, sanded and covered with Worbla thermoplastic too. The blue blades of the wings are home-dyed PETG plastic sheeting, cut to shape. Nothing is 3D printed. :)
